Random ideas, rants and general blogifications by yet another average extraordinary computer abuser
I got my tablet PC in October of 04 for the awesome (at the time) price of $661. The unit was very slightly damaged (it's far more damaged now since I got a hold of it though) and to this day I have a hard time still finding equivalent deals, so I feel good about my buy. Since then I have invested a considerable amount of time learning the platform and experimenting with new ways to use my computer and the tasks that it enables me to perform.
I have been using computers in general for the better half of my 20 years and found that this is the first computer I could truly integrate into more of my life. I briefly had a first generation Handheld PC that had many organizational utilities, but I was young and I didn't grasp the practicality of having my data with me anywhere. The tablet pc fulfills all those limitations I saw with the HPC and is the most exciting hardware and software advance in the last 15 years
I use it as my primary computer along with using it in school (2nd year Web Development student) as a note taking and productivity / anti-productivity tool.
