This post was created with BlogJet. It’s a nice little client-side blogging tool complete with support for multiple blog content management systems, spell checking, image placement, posting/editing/retrieval of blog posts, and more.
The “ink” sprinkled about this post was actually drawn in Journal and copy/pasted into BlogJet as an image. So yeah, unfortunately, BlogJet doesn’t support ink directly, but it can be used relatively easily to post ink drawings to a blog.
The downside is that the ink is posted as an image. Therefore, once the post is made, you can’t edit the ink. Also, you really need to get the scale of the drawing to what you want it to be before pasting it into BlogJet because ink scales much better as ink rather than once it is pasted as a bitmap. One other drawback is that BlogJet has a habit of dithering images so sometimes the pasted results aren't ideal.
With BlogJet configured using the .Text interface, BlogJet can automatically upload the ink-created images to Community Server quite effortlessly--well, almost. The images have to be ftp'ed to some location and that's the part we're still working out.
This is just one of a couple different ways that we're exploring ink support for TabletPCBlogs--and is probably of greatest interest to those who already own BlogJet.
So yeah, more to come.
