Ink feature requests

After playing around with the new ink features in Community Server for the last couple days, here are a couple features I'd really like to have:

1. Control of the size of the ink image
2. More control over where the ink is placed
3. _If_ I'm going to draw in the ink control, I need undo/redo and layers.
4. I'd like to be able to paste images into the control. Is this feasible?
5. The ink drawings really need to show up on the first page--at least as thumbnails.
6. The color picker dialog is too awkward to use, especially when trying to find just the right color for a drawing. The color picker dialog is probably OK for now, but something I'll want to think about changing.
7. Maybe a background grid could help or possibly some other templates.

Actually, now that I think about it, there are a bunch of features I'd like to see. That's the nature of the beast. :-)

The ink control needs to have it's boundaries better defined (I don't know if you've seen my forum post about the right hand side of one of my items getting cut off.

I completely agree with the undo/redo and layers ideas. Perhaps layering would be done by an option to preserve the original ink as an image so you can ink over it (but then that goes back to your idea of being able to insert images for mark up.

When editing the post it would be handy if the ink would also show when you go to preview the post - it doesn't currently so you've got no idea that it will look as intended.

Good suggestions. Like you I keep going to the Preview tab and.....seeing nada.

I saw your post earlier about the right clipping problem. I haven't had a chance to check it out. It's extra frustrating because there's not much you can do after you draw a whole picture.

Hehehe. Actually, it's pretty good for a beta.

I've seen the ink control crash and it seems to go into a disable state quite often, but other than that is functions quite well.
