On practicality and Apple Tablets

I've given up expecting a Tablet from Apple. It's not that I don't think they have the perfect market--artists, highly mobile freelancers, writers, and the like. It's just I think Apple will have its hands full during the transition to the Intel platform. I'll give them a couple years.

I wouldn't be surprised if you are correct.  I would look, instead, for Apple to introduce a handheld device that utilizes some of the same functionality as, say, they palm or windows handheld devices.  That sound more like the direction they are going, in my opinion.  It makes more sense to expand on the popular ipod line, rather than develop a new and probably very expensive full blown Tablet.

Just my 2 cents.

Well, apparently there is a utility in the wild that enables Mac OSX to run on a compatible PC. If your tablet is compatible.... why wait?  ;-)

I suppose the question there would be; what is the definition of compatible?
