TD on Tablet PC

Tales, trials and tribulations of integrating the Tablet PC into a multi-business environment from someone who does not work for Microsoft.

Argggh ... all thumbs!

My M1400 Tablet PC desktop as of 5/31/05

Just had a really nice post made up on my Tablet PC desktop describing the programs used and then hit some weird key combination on the keyboard and whammo: say goodbye! I tried going back in the browser but the post was gone. Got to disable whatever that keyboard combination is, because it sucks :(

In the meantime, you can see a picture of my M1400 desktop above. Might be awhile before I have the energy to fill in that information again, if ever. Not anything wrong with this site or program BTW, just my own blunder. I saw some JavaScript code awhile back that would save as you typed in a textarea box. I'll have to see if I can find that code to share. Something like that in a blogging client would be quite valuable.

And yes, if I'd have written the post in Word with auto-save then I wouldn't have lost the typing. I wonder how many people draft their posts in Word? I usually don't. Normal procedure is to type right in the text area box.

Oh, and I changed the template again .. still would like to see the word (Portrait) in the dropdown display, as this one still doesn't format right in Portrait mode. In a Paul Reveresq moment the Heiny's said: The ink is coming, ink is coming! Looking forward to having that functionality in the future :)

Sorry to read about the problem.

For my coursework, the posts are done in MS-Word first. For articles, the writing is done in MS-Word. However, for quick comments I am horrible about just slopping something down (and losing it many times).

Yes, Lora and Loren will work on inking up the forums after TechEd and others return from vacation. Am I Paul Revere or William Dawes?
