MMORPG gaming on M1400

Today over at MakeYouGoHmm I posted the results (with pictures) of in depth testing installing and playing of the MMORPG Everquest (pictured above). The reason I did this test was to see what type of gaming power the M1400 has because normally systems which won't run the newer games.

Recommended Everquest specs
Pentium III
512 MB RAM
NVidia GeForce 3 / ATIL Radeon 8500 equivalent or greater
56.6k + Internet Connection
16x CD-ROM
3.0 GB+ Hard Drive space
DirectX 9.0

When I purchased the M1400 I upgraded to the full 60GB hard drive and 1 GB RAM.

I'll be interested to see how this goes for you. I've got a friend (colleague?) who's interesting in a Tablet PC but is a huge Everquest fan. He's only going to go Tablet if it can work and I've been hesitant to recommend that it will.

I used to love EQ, but my wrists can no longer handle a lot of keyboard/mouse usage. I toyed with the idea of installing the game on my V1250, but I didn't realize I was so far behind in updates! Luclin is my last one.

I remember there was a bazaar that was impossible with a 32-mb card; I wondered if my TPC's shared 64mb would fare any better.
