Alternatives to flimsy Motion stand?

Flimsy M1400 stand #1

I noticed from the pictures of Rob Bushway's new Motion LE1600 that it still appears to be using that same flimsy plastic stand. Apply any sort of weight to either side of that crappy stand and the Tablet goes flying. I have learned to hold one side of it while I write on the screen.

Flimsy M1400 stand #2

Here they go and spend so much time and energy on the hardware and then pack in a subpar stand. They are better off including nothing than putting in that thing. Couldn't they have engineered something a little bit better? Perhaps something with four sides instead of triangular in design?

Flimsy M1400 stand #3

Who here has some alternative ideas/solutions for better Motion stands? Got to be better. Portrait, landscape, orientation doesn't matter. I've put up with this stand liability for six months, it's time to spring for something better before a serious crash and burn causes an unnecessary repair.

Solutions?

Believe it or not some people have found the $.99 folding plate stands found in craft and hobby stores(various sizes are available) to be superior to the $14.99 one included with the Motion Tablets. Funny how I found the Motion stand to work better with my Fujitsu than the Motion which seems to tip if you plug somthing into it, that is if you comfortably plug something into it while it is in its stand. The Motion Flexdock looks to be a good solution, but could be bit cheaper pushing almost $239, it is a bit pricey...

Othes have found that the cases by Elegant Packaging to be good solutions:
