Haven't seen Lora Heiny posting about Tablet PC stuff lately. I checked WhatIsNew and the last post there was on October 6. Lora's MSN Spaces blog (spaces.msn.com/lora) seems to have been taken over by somebody writing about gorillas. Is this just some monkey business, or some super secret Tablet PC code buried in gorilla speak? Or is she just taking a much deserved break and has let somebody else take it over who has no association with tablet pcs (gorillas, bananas and Tablet PCs ... might be tough to pull those topics together)? (If it's the latter then I need to remove some links)
Seriously, I'm curious because she has been a good resource for Tablet PC information and helps keep the rest of us non-Microsofties in the tablet loop. Hope all is going well on that front, whatever the story. Certainly wish her and her family well.
I'm glad to see this board is still planning to enable ink (in January 2006, hopefully) as I know that's something they have been eagerly wanting to do. The Community Server demo looks pretty straightforward and solid. Ink might help get some more excitement rolling around this site as well. Seems like a little steam has been lost this last month or so. Can't blame people, there's really not much point in posting here vs. posting on their own blogs if there are no cutting edge tablet features/functionality that make this unique.
Never did have anybody contact me privately about integrating RSS for the Tablet PC River of News stream. Maybe emails were sent, but they never reached me. Layne, Lora, Loren or whomever, you can also try reaching me at tdavid at gmail dot com. Still happy to provide that if there is still interest. Otherwise, no big deal. Just wondering.
