  • Still can't track it down, but getting closer

Those following my woes of the past week may remember that I'm having all sorts of problems with my new Tablet PC. Once thought to be the ultimate answer to the Consolidator is beginning to waste my time. I'm not even sure I can blame the computer itself. I think I bought this machine right in the armpit of last year's and next ...
  • Houston we're still having problems

I haven't written about anything as much as I have detailed the problems I've been experiencing, mostly because I need to get some answers, and I'm hoping that somebody somewhere on the net will have them. Please read my previous blog post describing the standby and shutdown problems. It's just gotten more annoying. Lately, I shut ...
  • Standby for take-off

While using Google to search the web for solutions to my Toshiba M400 Tablet PC stylus problem (Five Months Gone....), I eventually looked at my problem from a different angle, and found a new terms to use in the search. For the past week I'd been asking for results that included the words "Tablet PC", "stylus", ...
  • Five months gone....

I was hoping to make my next entry the most glorious, pumped up, praiseworthy review of the Toshiba M400. I mean, what's there not to like? Intel Core Duo T2400 processor, 512MB DDR2 667MHz RAM, built in sound, video, bluetooth, and fingerprint scanner... all in the tablet platform. My spare stylus for my M200 (the Consolidator) works with it, ...
  • Slowed Motion (But Darn, Those Techs are Cool!)

My work-issued LE1600 is a great machine, but the past couple of weeks haven't been good for the two of us.  As I mentioned before, I developed seemingly minor operating problems and reinstalled XP Tablet PC Edition 2005. One problem went away; others arrived. The system responded haltingly, and once wouldn't boot (the ...

  • My INK works!

I just got around to uninstalling the beta version Visual Studio 2005.  Using the beta version didn't allow the inking to work here.

  • A Tablet PC sleeve worth checking out

After purchasing my Toshiba R15, I had to protect my invenstment. I checked out several tablet sleeves and didn't see anything that allowed me to write on the screen while protecting it and the tablet body. I eventually came across a site called The Pouch. I wanted a black sleeve that would allow me to carry my tablet over my shoulder then shift ...

  • A solution to my Toshiba R15 Bluetooth blues

I really wanted Bluetooth technology in my Tablet but didn't want to deal with a dongle sticking out of a USB port. I have an SD card slot in the side and I found a Toshiba Bluetooth SD Card3 that runs version 1.2. This satisfies many issues, one of them being the included headset profile. It doesn't stick out nearly as far as a dongle would.

  • Check this out

Welcome to my first post! I've been listening to podcasts for over a year and have enjoyed gadget related subjects. One of my favorite podcasts comes from the folks at Mobile Tech Roundup site. Hosts of the show are David Ciccone, James Kendrick and Kevin C. Tofel. I started listening to David Ciccone since his first podcast at Dave's Ipaq, now ...
